Emerging Strategies for Sustainability in Higher Education

Sustainable development has gained relevance in higher education due to the growing need to integrate practices that promote environmental, economic and social sustainability. This review article aims to analyze emerging sustainable development strategies in higher education, highlighting pedagogical, operational and managerial approaches that contribute to the formation of conscious and responsible future professionals. Recent studies on the implementation of sustainable policies in universities are reviewed and the main challenges and opportunities in this field are identified.
